Mathew 28:19-20 NIV Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Spiritual Maturity Takes Time

The Twelve disciples were with Jesus for 3 years. They submitted themselves to the lord and denied themselves worldly pleasures. Many left their property and families behind. They dedicated themselves to the lord first, and the work and ministry of our Lord was included. They observed our Lord’s fellowship with his father and were eyewitnesses of his focus and unswerving obedience to the Father, even denying grand positions offered unto him. They were made uncomfortable at times because our Lord was no man-pleaser. They rejoiced and suffered with the Lord. The disciples also made many mistakes in the presence of the Lord and were corrected for things they had said and done. The Lord was preparing them along the journey. The Lord said that when he leaves them, they must give themselves to fasting because the groom would be taken from amongst them. (Mathew 9:14-16) Their development would continue even after the Lord's resurrection. The Lord said that there were many things that they could not bare at the time, but when the Holy Spirit came upon them, He would guide them into truth. (John 16:12-15)

Cultivating Disciples.

Ephesians 4:10-13 (KJV)

:10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) 11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

The Gospel is being proclaimed all throughout the world and many converts are entering into the faith of God and his son Jesus Christ. As we are entering into the world of social media influencers many new converts have taken to social media platforms and have become teachers of the Bible and the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ almost immediately after their conversion. Many are not clear on their belief, stances and are not ready to defend their faith against heresy.

It is imperative that avenues of true discipleship become available in this generation. Our goal in this ministry is to aid both new and seasoned believers in fulfilling their God-given purpose in the Lord. As scripture says Hebrews 12:1: Therefore, seeing we also are compassed about by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
